Content Policy

America In Pixels is a public, permanent map meant to feel welcoming to everyone — families, businesses, hometowns, memorials, and fans. This policy explains what you can and cannot put on your pixels.
Allowed
- Personal photos, logos, artwork you own or are licensed to use.
- Business names, taglines, and links to legitimate websites.
- Hometown pride, memorials, dedications, and messages of support.
- Community, team, school, and non-profit promotion.
Not allowed
- Illegal content, or content that facilitates illegal activity.
- Sexually explicit content, nudity, or content that sexualizes minors.
- Hate speech, harassment, or attacks on people based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or similar characteristics.
- Threats of violence, incitement, or glorification of violence.
- Doxxing or sharing others' private information without consent.
- Content that infringes copyright, trademark, or other IP rights.
- Malware, phishing, deceptive links, or scams.
- Impersonation of real people, brands, or government entities.
- Regulated goods (weapons, drugs, gambling) offered without proper authorization.
- Spam, misleading claims, or artificially inflated engagement.
Moderation
All uploads may be reviewed. If content violates this policy we may remove or hide it, contact you to make changes, and in serious or repeated cases suspend the account. Your underlying pixel claim remains yours — the artwork or message can be replaced.
Reporting
To report content that appears to violate this policy, or to submit a copyright complaint, email support@americapixels.com with a link to the pixel or profile page and a short description of the issue.
Changes
This policy may evolve as the community grows. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
